Pediatric Oncology Treasure Chest Foundation Selected as 2012-13 IAJHSC State Service Project

Pediatric Oncology Treasure Chest FoundationThe Pediatric Oncology Treasure Chest Foundation is a non-profit charitable organization that provides gifts to teens or children that suffer with any kind of cancer. The Treasure Chest Foundation has five (5) locations throughout Illinois.  Virtually of all funds raised go directly toward purchasing these gifts of love for each child.

Our support means that this wonderful foundation will be able to continue to provide happiness for these children while simultaneously putting us closer to finding our “Leadership Treasure.”  Please help the IAJHSC fill the treasure chest of The Pediatric Oncology Treasure Chest Foundation to overflowing so that they can brighten the days of the children who must face these painful challenges in their lives.  Start your fundraisers now and be a part of the “crew” that helps to bring joy and happiness to deserving children in the state of Illinois. Find the Leadership Treasure

2012-2013 IAJHSC State Theme Announced

The new District Representatives for this year met at the IAJHSC Leadership Camp during the week of June 24th through June 30th and selected our new theme for the coming school year. They chose the theme “Find the Leadership Treasure.” This is a fantastic theme that opens the door to some really great decorating ideas for workshops. It also gives us lots of connections to demonstrate important leadership skills as we work this year to make our student councils the best they can be. Congratulations go to the District Representatives for working so well together to come up with such a great way for everyone to envision the benefits of good middle level leadership in the state of Illinois!
